SHALINI ARUNOGIRI

I am a consultant psychiatrist with specialist qualifications in addiction psychiatry.

My public clinical work is based at Turning Point (Melbourne), where I see people with co-occurring mental health and substance use problems in our dual diagnosis clinic. 
I also lead a multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, social workers and medical practitioners who deliver evidence-based care for people with substance use and addictive disorders.

My areas of research interest include methamphetamine and other stimulant use, social cognition (the processes that underpin how we relate to other people), and addiction in women.
